Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to Sim Bhullar. Mr. Bhullar is a freshman at New Mexico State, but he did not have to wait long until he stood out on his new campus.

We’re guessing that’s just how it goes when you measure in at whopping 7-foot-5 and you weigh 335 pounds. In the photo above, Bhullar’s teammate, Renaldo Dixon, stands at 6-foot-10. Seriously. Very rarely in life is a guy standing at nearly seven feet made to look like a child, but there you go.

Why are we introducing you to him now?

Well, because you’re going to be seeing a lot more of him over the next few days: With a 16-point, 15-rebound and five block virtuoso performance against UT-Arlington, the 19-year old Bhuller helped lead the Aggies to a WAC Tournament Championship.

Which means this (extremely) big boy is going Dancing. And yes, that means this blogger’s going to think twice about whether this presumably low-seeded squad can pull off an upset or two.

How big is this guy? Just check out how small he makes another 6-foot-10 guy, UT-Arlington’s Jordan Reves, look in the WAC title game (our favorite part of this GIF: Check out the ball boy in the orange shirt after Bhullar sinks the layup — classic reaction right there):

Love it.
