New Rochelle hits arguably the greatest buzzer-beating shot of all time

crazy high school buzzer beater 2013

With literally one-tenth of a second left on the clock, New Rochelle’s Khalil Edney hit the most improbable buzzer-beater you’ll ever see to give his team a 61-60 victory in the New York Section 1 Class AA final.

For Edney, the miraculous shot was major redemption after throwing a pass that was intercepted by a Mount Vernon defender. The player then tossed the ball upcourt to kill the clock when Edney picked it off himself, heaved it, and sent the crowd in to mass chaos after somehow finding the bottom of the net.

Seriously, let that be a lesson, boys and girls: Never give up on any play until the final whistle is actually blown.

Because this dude just straight up blew our minds.

How does it compare to Myck Kabongo of Texas’ unreal buzzer-beater?
