Wolfpack Nation was more than fired up to welcome No. 1 and undefeated Duke into PNC Arena on Saturday. The Blue Devils were just one of two remaining teams with a perfect record, along with the Michigan Wolverines.

With senior forward Ryan Kelly and his 13.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game looking on from the bench –  Kelly is out indefinitely with a foot injury - the Blue Devils dropped their first game of the year, 84-76.

NC State scored often and early, leading by two points at the half, 41-39, and by as many as 10 points in the second half on the way to their first 3-0 start in ACC play since 1989.

C.J. Leslie led the way for the Wolfpack, scoring 23 points on 9-of-16 shooting.

For the Blue Devils, it was all senior guard Seth Curry, who kept the game within reach by making big shot after big shot, despite leaving the game late with a leg injury. Curry finished the game with 22 points on 8-of-16 shooting.

With the loss, Michigan now stands alone as the only unbeaten. NC State moves to 14-2 on the season, while Duke drops to 15-1.
