Pete Rose stars in probably the most clownish furniture ad you’ll ever see [Video]

It’s been a pretty bizarre few days in the world of sports blogging, folks. First, adidas’ Zubaz pants made their (sort of) spectacular debut at the Big East Tournament. After that, satirical, Simpsons stylings of the teams in the ACC, Big 12, and Big Ten all made their blogosphere presence felt.

Then, of course, there was a little league team out of Illinois that decided auctioning off an assault rifle would be the best way to raise money for bats and balls.

Finally, some really bizarre (read: Stoned??) Cal football coaches provided us all with the interview of the century.

However, none of that, in any way, shape or form, compares at all to the wonderfully wacky glory that is this furniture commercial starring Pete Rose and his mail order bride loving girlfriend, Kiana.

Forget the gambling and betting on baseball games, this commercial might be the clownish thing he’s ever done. Harsh, we know, but you’re Pete Rose. At least book a local mortgage firm commercial, or something.
