Former NBA player Renaldo Balkman has meltdown, chokes teammate in the Philippines
Get ready for the Renaldo Balkman meltdown. Balkman, a former first-round draft pick by the New York Knicks in 2006, is currently playing for the Petron Blaze Boosters of the Philippine Basketball Assocation.
Balkman had a meltdown in a game on Friday night (the Philippines is halfway around the world) that was embarrassing to say the least. He shoved refs and even choked his own teammate.
But don’t worry, he would like you to know via Twitter that he is sorry (because we all believe that):
I wld like to apologize to the fans, Petron Blaze, my teammates, the PBA and especially @tubidronald71 and @arwind029

Oh yea, and if you were wondering, from the looks of his Twitter profile, Balkman still thinks he plays for the Knicks.
