What jersey number is Mark Sanchez? You know him: He was one of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL in 2012? One who was not benched despite repeated poor performances and despite loud calls for him to sit?

He wears number six.

Let’s put these bizarre and slightly pervish dots together: The lady depicted in the image above is Rex Ryan’s wife. Ryan is the head coach of the New York Jets. After the miserable Jets’ season ended, Ryan was spotted on vacation without his shirt — with the tattoo of his own wife sporting a No. 6 Jets jersey on his right arm.

And who, boys and girls, did we say wore No. 6? Yup, good ole’ Mark Sanchez.

Is it cool to have a tattoo of your own wife sporting another man’s jersey?

No, not really, but we get the feeling that New York Giants fans are going to have no problem springing the 20 bucks necessary to sports this hilarious t-shirt.

This must be why the embattled coach never benched Sanchez. Maybe next time, Ryan should consider just having a t-shirt made as well; aren’t they just so much easier to take off than tattoos?
