Oakland Raiders linebacker Rolando McClain arrested again
The saga of former Alabama and current Oakland Raiders linebacker Rolando McClain continues. McClain was arrested again — the second time in just over a year — for providing a false identity to police.
According to the Decatur Daily, McClain was pulled over for the darkness of his tint on his vehicle before being booked for lying to the police about his name.
The arrest occurred in his hometown of Decatur, AL, the same place as the previous arrest. In 2011, McClain was booked for assaulting his friend, however the charges were dropped.
McClain doesn’t quite see it the way the authorities do, however, stating the following to the Decatur Daily:
“I’m falsely accused of everything,” the Oakland Raiders linebacker said before climbing into a white Chevrolet Silverado and driving from the parking lot of City Hall. “It’s corrupt. It’s terrible.”
Asked if he believes police are out to get him, McClain said, “Yes. You said it. I answered it.”
He is walking a slippery slope with repeated run-ins with the law; it’s not a good way to kick off the new year.
We will keep you posted here with any more news that surfaces.
