Shaq Daddy coins former Gator baller David Lee as the ‘White Chris Webber’
All of us around Gator Nation knew that former Gator power forward David Lee was a baller, but what we knew was somewhat of a secret around the NBA-waters for quite some time.
Former NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, better known as the king of nicknames – aka Superman, Shaq Daddy, the Big Aristotle, and so on – coined our former baller the “WCW” last Thursday, short for the “White Chris Webber.”
Lee commented on the nickname, stating:
“I love the nickname, love the nickname,” Lee said Friday, a day after putting up 31 points on 13-of-15 shooting, nine rebounds and six assists. “I got to hear about it via Twitter after the game. The biggest thing is that people were talking about the Warriors. People were talking about the positive things within the organization.”
Lee is now suiting up for the Golden State Warriors, and is averaging 17.4 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game for the season.
