Stacy Coley brings the ‘Swag’ back to The U with commitment, literally [Photo]
2013 National Signing Day provides recruits of all shapes, sizes and mindsets the opportunity to pick their school in any manner they choose. The nation’s No. 2 defensive tackle, Montravius Adams, sported an Auburn shirt that looked like it was painted at a carnival.
Ohio State commit Vonn Bell busted out the Malcolm X glasses to go with a black tie and, yes, black suspenders. Of course, the national No. 1 recruit, Robert Nkemdiche, was the first to make his announcement, while also being the first to break out some Hotty Toddy suspenders.
However, none of the next generation of football stars truly sought to embody their program’s new-school spirit more than Stacy Coley.
The No. 3-overall wide reciever, at 6-foot-1 and 173 pounds, is the 47th-best player in the entire nation. He has the talent, and on Wednesday he showed the college football world something else he’s got, something The U has been in dire need of for quite some time.
He’s got that Miami “Swag”, son.
