Utah DT Star Lotulelei will miss NFL Combine due to heart condition

ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reports that Utah Utes DT Star Lotulelei will not work out at the NFL Combine following the detection of a heart condition.
According to Mortensen, Lotulelei’s left ventricle is only working at 44% efficiency and should be in the 50-77% range.
Lotulelei is a projected top five draft pick and was looking to solidify his stock with a strong showing in Indianapolis.

Football and heart conditions rarely work together, so we are hoping that this isn’t anything career-threatening for the future NFL star.
