The New England Patriots have a way of getting under peoples’ skin. The wins are obviously a part of it, but there is something else — something deeper.
It is how coach Bill Belichick wins. How quarterback Tom Brady wins.
The New England Patriots do not simply win games, but they win games in blowout fashion. They win big.
That was precisely the case when the Houston Texans and the Patriots met in Week 14. In New England, the home town fans were treated to a 42-14 drubbing of a Houston team that was 11-1 coming into the game.
The two teams met again on Sunday afternoon, in the second week of the NFL Playoffs. Houston’s superstar defensive end JJ Watt was looking to treat the fans to a bit of a different show.
A pregame show.
Watt reportedly trotted to midfield, hocked up a loogie, and spit right on the logo of the Patriots prior to kickoff.
Hilarious. This game just got more interesting. J.J. Watt spit on the Patriots’ logo at midfield. #patriots #texans
