North Carolina does not traditionally have much of a football team. No one really knows a thing about the Tar Heels’ ancillary sports, either; they’re good, but how many people really pay attention to NCAA tennis?
However, those in the powder blue have always had their basketball team.
The best of the best of the best have laced ‘em up for Chapel Hill over the years, and the program’s annual tilts against in-state and absolutely bitter rival Duke have always been games for the ages.
Well, the 2012-13 season has just straight up not been kind to UNC. The Heels already had seven losses prior to Wednesday night’s showdown against the Blue Devils. While they were able to keep the game close, eventually losing to No. 8 by a score of 68-73, this fan was starting to see the writing on the wall early.
And he was none too happy, now was he?
Either that, or he was a little too drunk and just trying to keep from throwing up — hey, we’ve all been there, right?
