St. Louis Rams CB Trumaine Johnson arrested for DUI

St. Louis Rams cornerback Trumaine Johnson was arrested in Missoula, Montana and booked on a misdemeanor DUI charge, according to KPAX in Missoula, via NBC Sports. He was booked into jail at 3:05 Friday morning and was released on $700 bond roughly an hour later.
This is already the second time Johnson has gotten himself in trouble already, and the season is still months away from getting going. He did not get into any trouble after sleeping through the Rams’ first practice of training camp, but this transgression is a far larger one.
Further, the 2012 third-round pick out of Montana (which explains what he was doing out in Missoula at three in the morning in the first place) has a history of minor issues. During a post-game incident in college in which alcohol was involved, he was arrested, tased and charged with obstructing a police officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Johnson played in all 16 games as a rookie last season, and started three. He compiled 31 tackles and hauled in a pair of interceptions. He ended the year as the team’s nickle corner behind fellow rookie Janoris Jenkins, as well as Cortland Finnegan.
