Twitter Takedown: 15-seed Florida Gulf Coast takes down 2-seed Georgetown

Whomever’s brackets were left at least relatively intact towards the end of Day 2 of March Madness finally tossed them into the garbage can after second-seeded Georgetown fell to 15th-seeded Florida Gulf Coast on Friday night, 78-68.

Despite the fact that Georgetown boasted First Team All-American Otto Porter, FGCU played as one both offensively and defensively, and for an entire 40 minutes.

Once it was all over, fans of the Eagles and just general sports fans voiced their shock over the monumental win for a team that was playing in its very first NCAA Tournament.
