Twitter Takedown: Fans react to Kentucky’s stunning loss to Robert Morris in NIT

Most fans figured the Kentucky Wildcats had been done wrong by the NCAA Tournament Committee when the defending national champions were relegated to the lowly NIT.

However, coach John Calipari’s ‘Cats proved the Committee right when they screwed up badly in losing to No. 8-seeded Robert Morris (there are only seeds 1-8 in the NIT, as opposed to 1-16 in the NCAAs), 59-57, in front of barely more than 3,000 Colonials fans in their tiny gym.

As expected, the sports world and Twitterverse absolutely blew up. These are some of the very best fan reactions from one of the biggest surprises to ever happen to the NIT.
