Twitter Takedown: Sports world reacts to Lindsey Vonn-Tiger Woods’ (Facebook) official relationship [*NSFW*]

Well, it looks like good ole’ Tiger has gotten back up on that saddle on more than just the links. Following a massive adultery scandal that shredded his marriage and his public persona, Mr. Woods is finally back to winning golf tournaments, and, as of Monday, back to serious dating as well.

What had long been rumored was finally made official when superstar skier Lindsey Vonn announced her relationship with Tiger via — where else? — Facebook. Here’s what Vonn wrote underneath this cheesy/prom/homecoming/creepy pic of the together:

I guess it wasn’t a well-kept secret but yes, I am dating Tiger Woods. Our relationship evolved from a friendship into something more over these past few months and it has made me very happy. I don’t plan on addressing this further as I would like to keep that part of my life between us, my family and close friends. Thank you for understanding and your continued support! xo LV

Ummm, yeah, about that “understanding” and “continued support.” Some folks treaded lightly in terms of the jokes, but the vast majority did not.
