The Virginia Tech Hokies’ football program has not fallen by the wayside, but a bit of sprucing up might be necessary after the team’s 7-6 2012 season.

Well, the program has decided on just a bit more than simply ‘sprucing up’, unveiling plans for a major face lift instead.
The Hokies recently released design concepts that would provide Lane Stadium with a massive new scoreboard. Already considered one of the very best home field advantages in the nation, this new piece of technology would only amp up the enthusiasm of both the crowd and the players.
And it just might impress a few boosters and potential recruits in the process.
