Vanderbilt fans kick Kentucky out the SEC Tourney door with chants of ‘N-I-T’
It wasn’t pretty for the Kentucky Wildcats on Friday night, who were dismantled by the Vanderbilt Commodores to a the tune of a 64-48 final.
The loss not only boots the ‘Cats from the SEC Tournament, but possibly even from the NCAA Tournament.
It was believed that Kentucky had secured themselves a “dance” with the big win over Florida less than a week ago, but this loss was bad enough to make the selection committee think twice.
Vandy fans let Kentucky know just where they would like to see them at the end of the game, filling the Bridgestone Arena with chants of “N-I-T!”

Funny thing about the chants? The Commodores haven’t even sniffed the bubble this season.
But hey, it still feels good to stomp on the ‘Cats.
Anchor Down.
