2013 BCS National Championship: War Eagle Nation will go to any length not to root for Alabama [Photo]

Sick of all those folks way down in the South cheering ‘SEC! SEC! SEC!’ in support of some random in-conference squad (say, for no reason at all, Alabama) when during the season all of these schools hate each other?
Well, so are the folks in Auburn. The 2010 BCS National Champions are currently downtrodden, the program is coach-less, and the fan base has decided to stick to its guns and actually hate a team it has hated since, well, ever since.
War Eagle Nation has no reason to cheer for Bama after being taken to the woodshed by the Crimson Tide in the Iron Bowl to wrap up one of the worst seasons in school history.
So its fans are not going to.
Officials at Auburn and Notre Dame have joined forces to create a new breed of fighting tiger/eagle/Irishman (confused are we?) soon to be known to the college football universe as WarIrish.
And yes, don’t you worry, you can search for this crazy new critter at #WarIrish.
It remains to be seen whether or not there will be any WarIrish tattoos springing up, but if this guy can tattoo the score of the Texas A&M-Alabama game score on his behind, there is no reason to put such ink past members of either War Eagle or GoIrish Nation.
After finishing 3-9 in 2012, at least Auburn fans have found something to cheer for, even if it is as simple as the demise of an in-state rival.
What do you think Gamedayrs? Does WarIrish have a future as some bizarre, unholy union between Catholics and Tigers? Sound off in the comments below!
