Washington Huskies up their recruiting game, send 37 hand written letters

Apparently the Washington Huskies have taken notice of Hugh Freeze’s recruiting tactics down in Ole Miss. Just a couple of weeks back, we posted a photo of 54 handwritten letters Freeze had sent a top 2014 recruit.

Reddit user gben65 posted this photo on Tuesday of 37 (38 total) handwritten letters he received from the University of Washington.

As we can gauge from the Instagram caption on the photo, the individual who received these is most likely a 2014 college football recruit. Head coach Steve Sarkisian is wasting no time trying to lure him to the purple and gold.

Sending recruits tons of handwritten letters is a very time consuming process. With such packed schedules already, there is very little wiggle room for these coaches to spare themselves. The NCAA has recently deregulated recruiting, and thus this could become more of the norm as coaching staffs will now likely have individuals strictly appointed to sending recruits letters.

Speaking of Ole Miss, the Rebels lost their recruiting coordinator to the NFL.
