The Washington Wizards have been bad since, well, ever since. On Wednesday night, not only did the team suffer an epic fail at the buzzer, but the organization’s announcers did too.
Check out the video. It definitely looks like, at first, Trevor Ariza’s shot attempt at the buzzer falls, giving the Wiz a much-needed win over Detroit.
The announcers go nuts — as announcers often do — only to look over at Ariza and ponder aloud why he was sulking even though he just won the game for Washington.
They then go back to the tape to see the failed shot and begin to backtrack, but it’s too late — the Wizards were already terrible.
