Due to new dietary restrictions, Cam Newton won’t be eating turkey this Thanksgiving. During the offseason Newton became a pescatarian, and the diet has apparently stuck.
“Ever since I gave up the meat, I think it was March, I liked the way I was feeling and I just stuck with it ever since.”
Newton said that he likes to challenge himself in the offseason, thus the change in diet. With a new eating plan and extra season under his belt, Newton has returned to his winning ways. His Carolina Panthers, 8-3 on the season, already have more wins than in the quarterback’s rookie and sophomore campaigns.
The Panthers take on NFC South foe Tampa Bay on Sunday, as they try to keep pace with the division-leading Saints.
[Happy Thanksgiving to FOX Sports for the lead on this]
