Cameroon’s Albert Ebosse Dead After Fans Threw Objects During The Game

On Saturday, Cameroon’s Albert Ebosse did what he did best for his team JS Kabylie and scored the winning goal against USM Alger.

Unfortunately, the USM Alger fans are a bunch of ruthless hooligans who decided they would throw objects, reportedly rocks, at the JS Kabylie players as they headed toward the locker room. At least one of those objects struck Ebosse, who had to be taken to the hospital in Tizi Ouzou. He was pronounced dead shortly after arriving due to sustained head injuries.

According to the Algerian interior ministry, an investigation into the incident will be underway shortly.

The video below is reportedly right before the crowd began throwing objects at the players.

Ebosse was the leading scorer in the Algerian league last season with 17 goals. He was 24 years old.
