Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished the Brickyard 400 today in 9th place. While he didn’t lead any laps in the race, he was always hanging around. His mother, Brenda Gee, noticed that her son had taken an otherwise underwhelming car and managed to hold it together and finish inside the top ten.
She then texted him after the race to let him know that he reminded her of another race car driver.
You may have heard of him.

Is that the highest praise this mother could give her son? Certainly seems that way.
