Dale Earnhardt Jr. joins Twitter, takes selfie with his dad after Daytona 500 win

Welcome to Twitter, Dale Earnhardt Jr. You are probably going to regret it next race you don’t win, but hey, enjoy the good times while they last.

Following his second Daytona 500 win on Sunday night, Earnhardt Jr. decided it was time to finally join the social media platform. For his first few tweets he showed off his trophy, his car and took a selfie with his dad … wait, what?

Yes, Junior snapped a picture with his his legendary father’s statue at Daytona International Speedway.

As of writing, Junior had collected 288,000 Twitter followers. That’s almost Kate Upton status.
