At this point in time, relations between Mack Brown and Charlie Strong are probably tenuous at best. But if there’s a uniting factor that can bring together Longhorn Nation, it’s one Matthew David McConaughey.
On Sunday night, he completed the career arc from a stoner “Dazed and Confused” to Oscar-winning actor in “Dallas Buyers Club” (a ragweed-to-riches path paved by Sean Penn). Following the victory, McConaughey received congratulatory tweets from the coach of Longhorns past:
