School affiliation never dies, especially in the SEC.
Now that Mizzou is a part of the mighty conference, Kansas City Chiefs backup quarterback Chase Daniel thought he would get in on the fun. His Tigers were facing South Carolina, the proud alma mater of Chiefs kicker Ryan Succop.
The two placed a fun bet: Whichever team lost, that player had to wear the clothes of the winning side.
For a while, it looked like Daniel would be thumbs-up. His Tigers had gone up 17-0 and were looking great. However, the wheels proceeded to fall off in the fourth quarter, and Succop’s Gamecocks pulled out the “W” in double overtime.
On Monday, Daniel made good on the bet, donning a South Carolina shirt and hat.
