Tim Tebow was a phenomenal college quarterback, but it didn’t really translate to the NFL. So now, the Boy Wonder is trying his hand in baseball and will hold a workout for Major League Baseball teams on Aug. 30.
According to ESPN, more than 20 MLB teams are confirmed to attend the workout, which will be held in Los Angeles.
Tebow was a baseball star in high school back in 2005 and decided to revisit those skills the past year. He has been training in Arizona and Los Angeles to refresh his hitting and fielding skills.
Tebow hosted a tryout for the Los Angeles Dodgers before this season and scouts were pretty impressed, expressing interest in the Heisman Trophy-winner.
This will be a very interesting career move for Tebow. That’s if he can actually hit a curveball when the time comes.
