At some point you would think that players in the Major League would probably learn to stop at third and not test the arm of Yoenis Cespedes.
Actually, it wouldn’t really be a test of his arm but rather a display.
Seattle Mariners’ Willie Bloomquist was the latest victim of the Cespedes Cannon after he tried to score from second base.
The play was reviewed after Mariners’ skipper Lloyd McClendon came out to argue that the tag wasn’t in time. The play held up and gave Cespedes his league leading 11th outfield assist of the year.
