South Korean native Seung-Yul Noh netted the first PGA Tour win of his career on Sunday. The 22-year-old shot 19-under at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, besting Andrew Svoboda and Robert Streb by two strokes. With the victory, Noh also added a nice payday to his bank account, taking home 1,224,000 in prize money of the $6,800,000 purse.
Noh entered the day tied with Keegan Bradley, but outplayed his opponent on Sunday, shooting four strokes better. Bradley finished at 3-over for the round, and 13-under for the tournament.
Billy Horschel took home the money in 2013, which saw a total purse of $6,600,000. From 2010 to 2012, the Zurich Classic gave $6,400,000 in prize money each year.
