Adam Silver held a press conference on Tuesday afternoon in which he announced Donald Sterling’s lifetime ban from the NBA. Along with the ban, Silver levied a $2.5 million fine (the maximum amount allowed per NBA constitution), and will apparently strong-arm Sterling’s sale of the team.
Predictably, Twitter rained down fire and brimstone with its reactions. Here are some of the hot takes right after Silver dropped the hammer.
