Hashtags are great aren’t they? They’re like that extra little turn of phrase that changes a tweet from ordinary to exceptional. They’re even better when companies try to squeeze a marketing ploy out of them, or engender good will, and it blows up. While ESPN didn’t have nearly the #AskEmmert debacle on its hands Monday, the Worldwide Leader’s Sports Commencement hashtag produced some snarky reactions.
