Burglar robs Alabama fan’s car, leaves Auburn Christmas ornament

The Auburn Tigers are back in BCS contention, which means War Eagle has a little pluck to it. A Jefferson County, Alabama man awoke to find his car had been burglarized, with the criminal leaving no evidence except an Auburn Christmas ornament.

The victim, who is a die-hard Alabama Crimson Tide fan, feels the burglary was not random, but rather a personal attack by a crazed Auburn devotee.

Always one of sports’ best rivalries, the Iron Bowl is at its best when the two football teams are playing well. Jefferson County’s Chief Deputy Alex R. Christian summed up the contempt between fans best by saying “I guess the rivalry knows no boundaries.”

When even the law doesn’t apply, it sure doesn’t.

Sorry Roll Tide, War Eagle wins this one.
