A lot of “celebrities” were at Game One of the World Series, according to MLB’s PR department. We use the term loosely because MLB apparently has a broad scope of what constitutes a celebrity.
Matt Damon and Jon Hamm were there. Okay. A Jonas brother, another guy from Mad Men, and Rob Lowe were, too. Okay? Three Patriots players, a Dropkick Murphy, and the drunk uncle from Rescue Me were also in Fenway. Wait, what? Apparently if you’re from New England, have a Boston accent (or ball cap), and have been on cable TV you’re considered a Fenway celebrity.
We’re not hating. All we’re saying is this ain’t exactly a Lakers or Yankees game. And where’s Affleck?
