So the “Fire Muschamp” campaign officially begins.
Florida fans are not happy with head coach Will Muschamp following Saturday’s Homecoming loss to Vanderbilt. Some so much that they’ve already started calling for the third-year coach’s head.
The defeat to Vanderbilt was the first time the Gators lost to the Commodores in 22 years, and the first time at home since 1945. Those two stats alone are reason enough to fire up fans. Add in the regression in development the team seems to have taken in Muschamp’s third year, the lack of any kind of offense, FSU’s rise to national prominence, and the Gators’ three-game losing streak to Georgia, and fans are beginning to pile up the ammunition.
The following sign was spotted just outside of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on Sunday night.
While this may be the feeling among some, members of Gator Nation will be quick to point out that this isn’t reflective of all Florida fans.
