Kansas fans were finally given a reason to celebrate football on Saturday, when the Jayhawks knocked off the West Virginia Mountaineers, 31-19.

So desperate were fans for a Big 12 win (it’s been years, mind you) that beating a 4-6 team (now 4-7) merited rushing the field. They ripped down the goal posts and chucked them in a nearby lake.

Now, those same goal posts have found a way into an SUV. We can’t be sure if this is the university picking them up, or just a few fans ready to immortalize the victory in their backyard. Whatever the case may be, this is a perfect picture of just how hungry the fans were for a victory.
