News broke on Tuesday that longtime Texas Longhorns coach Mack Brown would be stepping down after 16 seasons at the helm. Shortly thereafter, both Brown and Texas denied the initial report - because media, y’all.
The conflicting reports had Twitter in a glass case of emotion. Fans across the country weighed in on the news/non-news. Some fans were extremely excited; some were let down; and some were just wasting time being witty.
Take it away, Twitter…
The real reason Mack Brown is in Florida is that the news that Jameis Winston wanted to play for Texas has finally reached him.
