Twitter Takes: RGIII, fans wish their best for Gary Kubiak after collapse

In front of millions of people watching across the country, Houston coach Gary Kubiak collapsed just prior to halftime of the Texans’ Sunday night showdown against the Indianapolis Colts.

It was a terrifying moment. Kubiak was immediately descended upon by a team of medical professionals, and removed from the field on a stretcher. Defensive coordinator Wade Phillips took over in Kubiak’s absence, but obviously football was far from the minds of most at that time.

Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III, ever the classy individual, took to Twitter to share his prayers for Kubiak.

Instead of chatting idly about the game, fans followed RGIII’s lead, taking to Twitter to express their well-wishes to the coach.

Of course, there were a few out there who treated the situation like it was a joke.
