Video: Fans at Staples Center give Jason Collins standing ovation in Nets debut

Jason Collins became the first openly gay athlete to play in any of America’s four major sports on Sunday night. He signed a 10-day contract with the Brooklyn Nets earlier in the day. As he checked into the game for the first time against the Lakers, fans in attendance at the Staples Center gave him a standing ovation.
