WVU fans arrested for flipping cars after Oklahoma State win

According to WAJR, one West Virginia student has been arrested and another teenager has a warrant out for flipping cars after a huge Mountaineers victory.

When Oklahoma State visited Morgantown on Sept. 28, West Virginia was sitting at 2-2 on the year and coming off a 37-0 blowout loss to Maryland. No one expected much, but coach Dana Holgorsen’s Mountaineers came through. They defeated the highly ranked Cowboys, 30-21.

At that point, WVU students commenced to do what they do best: rage their faces off.

Unfortunately for Kevin James Wheeler and Willam Schwab, Morgantown no longer wants its student body to celebrate like maniacs. Wheeler, a WVU student from White Hall, Md., has already been arrested. Schwab, an 18-year-old University of South Carolina student, is still wanted on a charges of felony destruction of property.

Police reportedly spent over 100 hours figuring out the identities of the two culprits who caused damages in excess of $6,000. Chief Bob Roberts reported that more than 40 tips were followed up, which eventually led to the arrest and warrant.

“This highlights our community’s zero tolerance level for this type of criminal behavior,” Roberts said, “and we truly appreciate all the support we received from the University community on our investigation.”

Hopefully, next time student want to party, they just go to a bar and flip over a bar stool or something.
