It only seems fitting that Nike outfit Neymar with gold cleats, considering he leads the World Cup’s chase for the Golden Boot. The Brazilian currently has four goals, while several players behind him sit at three.
These Hypervenom cleats were unveiled on Tuesday, and according to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, the design was inspired from shoes that Neymar painted gold as a child. He’ll be wearing them during the knockout stages of the tournament. Brazil won Group A, edging out Mexico as they both head into the next round.
