Minnesota Reporter Loses It During Riot After Gophers’ Loss

Much like we witnessed during the course of March Madness, the men’s hockey national championship game on Saturday night triggered riots. The Minnesota Golden Gophers fell to Union College, 7-4, prompting fans to take to the streets in the Twin Cities.

Minneapolis Fox affiliate KMSP was on hand for the madness, where reporter Jonathan Choe got more than he bargained for. As Choe was trying to report from the scene, drunk fans were taking over his broadcast. He even had to push some folks out of the way in order to get the broadcast in.

Until next year’s hockey tournament.
