Thanks to Ellen, everyone with a smartphone is posting group selfies to the web – so basically everyone but me and Andrew Luck. These snapshots have quickly leaped over “military parents surprising their families at sporting events” and “family member X surprising family member Y with big game tickets” as the most played out “viral” moment in the sports blogosphere.
With that said, so many of these damn things come across my desk that I will now hate-post every single one. To be clear, I do not hate any individual in these pictures, merely the practice of people taking foolish snapshots with little-to-no creativity.
Dear Army guys: Thank you for serving our country. Thank you in advance for never posting another damn selfie.
