Seattle Seahawks minicamp practice on Wednesday came with a little extra something when Richard Sherman and Phil Bates faced off in a drill. Sherman blanketed Bates down the field, which quickly escalated into shoving, fighting, and punches being thrown.
From the looks of the video and the sound of the report, the scuffle was all in competitive nature. Both sides went back to their normal routine afterwards. While Pete Carroll doesn’t want to see players fight in practice, he has to appreciate the intensity and hunger his Super Bowl-winning team is showing in minicamp.
