During the first quarter of Thursday night’s Los Angeles-Brooklyn game, Clippers point guard Chris Paul destroyed Nets point guard Deron Williams’ ankles on a filthy crossover.
With his Clippers leading 10-2, Paul brought the ball up court. Williams worked off a screen, moving to his left in front of Paul. One cross back through Paul’s legs to the left and the Clippers’ superstar had completely embarrassed the Nets’ court general. Williams collapsed to the ground like a sack of potatoes.
Welcome to SportsCenter’s Not Top 10, Deron.
Paul is used to breaking ankles. The play is reminiscent of this killer crossover on Andre Miller.
