Crockpot Chili Con Queso

The easiest way to make a huge batch of chili con queso… let the crockpot do the work for you. In just a couple of hours you have a delicious, addictive appetizer that goes a long way.

  • 2 lbs (32 oz)  Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 2 (16 oz) cans Hormel Chili (with or w/o beans depending on preference)
  • 16 oz  salsa (your preference)
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  1. In a large crockpot combine velveeta, chili, and salsa.
  2. Cook on low for at least two hours, or until all ingredients have melted and blended together.
  3. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  4. Serve hot with tortilla chips or fritos.
