Following Brazil’s colossal defeat to Germany, many Brazilian newspapers used the pained expressions of fans to illustrate just how badly the team’s performance was. While images of David Luiz crying and Phil Scolari face-palming are emblematic of the day, nothing comes close to capturing Brazil’s heartbreak as does the anguished faces of the nation’s fans.
