Chandler Parsons Signs Offer Sheet With Dallas Mavericks

Wednesday night was a joyous occasion for Mark Cuban, Chandler Parsons and the entire Parsons family. The small forward signed an offer sheet with the Dallas Mavericks worth a reported $45 million over three years, which includes an opt-out clause after the second year.

The Houston Rockets, who declined to pick up Parsons’ option last month, have three days to match the offer, or else watch their team captain move north to Dallas.

Parsons, drafted in the 2nd round out of the University of Florida in 2011, has steadily improved each year in the league. He has raised his points, rebounds and assists per game in each of his three seasons. On his career, Parsons averages 14.1 ppg, 5.2 rpg and 3.3 apg.

After signing the offer sheet, Cuban, Parsons and family celebrated.
