Georgia Changes Recruiting Game With Hand Drawn Portraits

Mark Richt and his assistants have gotten artistic in this recruiting season. Rather than bombard players with a billion envelopes, a la Notre Dame’s pot of gold, the Bulldogs send out personalized letters containing a hand-drawn portrait of each recruit wearing Georgia’s uniform.

Below is a picture of one sketch that was sent to four-star recruit D’Andre Walker.

Here’s a look at Rashad Roundtree’s drawing, or as he calls it, his “best mail yet!”

And just like that, the recruiting game is changed. Now who will be the first one to highjack this idea?
