Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shahid Khan is sparing no expense when it comes to upgrading the fan experience at EverBank Field. He is changing the game when it comes to luxury box seats by installing poolside cabanas, and Duval will receive a taste of Las Vegas with the Jags’ new party deck.
Two levels are being added as part of the stadium’s renovations. The lower tier will feature 50-person cabanas with pool access for $12,500 per game. The upper tier are being sold for considerably less at $3,000 per game for up to 20 people, however fans will not be able to utilize the pools.
When you consider that the purchase of a cabana comes with unlimited food and beverages, the premium ticket price is not that outrageous.
“We wanted to take areas in our stadium that were underperforming and get creative,” [Senior VP of Sales Chad] Johnson said. “It’s no secret that we’ve had tarps on seats, so we wanted to turn that around and build premium areas.”
And for those of you worried about someone indulging a little too much with the pools around, Jacksonville has already hired its first lifeguard.
